Norman Michael "Kevin" Hardy

            Norman Michael “Kevin” Hardy, 54 of Altoona died early Tuesday morning May 30, 2023, at Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg.

            He was born January 19, 1969, in Baltimore, MD, a son of Norman McCoy and the late Michelle Hardy. He married Kelli Nakia Pearson on November 30, 2008, in Altoona.

            Surviving are his loving wife, Kelli; six children, son Charles McCoy, son Norman Hardy, Jr., daughter Nkene Hardy all of Maryland, daughter Shaydair Miller, son Nyaha Hardy (Tresse), and daughter Nahjay Hardy all of Altoona; his father of Maryland; three sisters, Michown Williams (Sam) of Virginia, Malynda Tyler (Antwoine), and Coco McCoy both of Maryland; mother in law, Ernestine Pearson; father in law Emzel Boozer, brother in law, Emzel Pearson, Jr. (Nichole), brother in law, Tyrese Pearson (Melissa), sister in law, Shae Pearson, and sister in law, Sabrina Pearson all of Altoona; and numerous extended family members.

            Mr. Hardy was a member of Catalyst Church, Altoona.

            He was employed by Shirley’s Cookies.

            Kevin enjoyed taking road-trips, cooking, shooting, and video games. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

            A Celebration of Kevin’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday August 5, 2023, at Catalyst Church, 1331 12th Avenue, Suite 103, Altoona with Pastor Michael Blackie officiating.
