Pamela Gay Hughes, 70, of Altoona, died early Tuesday morning, December 7, 2021, at her residence.
She was born February 24, 1951, a daughter of the late Clyde and Ila Jean (Garlitz) Drugg. On April 29, 1972, she married Martin Joseph Hughes at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Altoona.
Surviving along with her husband of 49 years are two daughters: Kristen A. Hearns (Sean) of Falls Church, VA, Melanie J. Kissell (Nathan) of New Paris; two grandchildren: Delana and Brody; a brother: Barry Lee Drugg (Becky) of Big Canoe, GA; two nephews: Christopher Drugg (Ashley) and Matthew Drugg; three sister-in-law: Barbara Franco (Alex), Kathleen Graffius, and Jeannie Workinger (John).
Pam was a 1969 graduate of Altoona High School. In 2018, she retired from Stay & Play Preschool, Altoona, where she was a preschool teacher for 20+ years.
Per request of the family, there will be no services held at this time.
