Patricia Ann “Pat” Ianniello, 84, Altoona, died Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Hollidaysburg Veterans Home, Duncansville.
She was born in Hastings on November 3, 1936, the daughter of the late Anthony Peter and Lenora Elizabeth (Walters) Dubetsky. On January 12, 1957, she married Herman Victor “Vic” Ianniello in Wichita, Kansas.
Surviving are her husband, Vic; a son, John A. Ianniello of Altoona; a daughter, Vicki L. Fowler and husband, Ritchy, of W.Va.; a granddaughter, Melanie A. Ianniello (Hunter Van Ormer) of Lancaster; a brother, George Dubetsky and wife, Skip, of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; a sister, Beverly Carter of Summerfield, Fla.; two special nieces: Lori McKnight and Cathy Gocella; a special great-niece, Kate McKnight; numerous extended family members; and her lifelong friend, Phyllis Metzger.
She was preceded in death by a son, Michael A. Ianniello, in 1980; and 12 siblings: Helen, Esther, Elaine, Donald “Pete,” Rita, Rose, Gene, Al, Ray, Richard “Dick,” Jim and infant Daniel.
Pat was an amazing and loving mother, grandmother and homemaker. She had a keen sense of humor, and her family meant everything to her. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and camping with Phyllis, sewing and crafting, and her plants. But most of all, she enjoyed her home and taking care of it. She was a friend of Jesus and in Him her salvation was found!
Friends will be received from 1:30 until the 2:30 p.m. memorial service Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona, Pastor Dave Miller officiating. A private interment will be made at Calvary Cemetery.
