Patrick Joseph "Pat" O'Connor

            Patrick Joseph “Pat” O’Connor, 67 of Altoona died early Thursday morning November 28, 2019 at his residence.

            He was born July 3, 1952 in Altoona a son of the late Cyril R., Sr. and Mary Catherine “Kate” (Murphy) O’Connor. He married Cindy F. Rickabaugh February 18, 1977 in Altoona.

            Surviving are his wife, Cindy; four children, daughter Maureen Pelton (Joe); son Stephen “Stevie” O’Connor; son Matthew “Matt” O’Connor (Rachel); son Brent O’Connor (Danielle) all of Altoona; five grandchildren, Trevor, Kaydin, Bryson, Kacie and Bentley; and four brothers.

            Pat was preceded in death by a sister, Maureen O’Connor.

            He was a 1971 graduate of Altoona Area High School.

            He was employed as a welder for Albemarle Corporation for over 25 years.

            Pat enjoyed spending time with his only daughter. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons Matt and Brent, watching Steelers football with his son Steve and grandson Bentley and spending time with his family. He enjoyed working alongside his son, Matt.

            At Patrick’s request there will be no viewing or funeral service.
