Ralphephia G. "Fia" Guthrie

            Ralphephia G. “Fia” Guthrie, 46 of Altoona died Thursday afternoon December 24, 2020 at UPMC Altoona following a brief illness.

            She was born December 31, 1973 in Newark, NJ a daughter of the late Ralph and Elaine (Barber) Guthrie.

            Surviving are three children, daughter Fatimah E. Guthrie, son Kevin R. Givens, daughter Nylah N. Guthrie; a granddaughter, Aria Givens all of Altoona; two brothers, Floyd and Terrance Barber both of Newark, NJ; two sisters, Shelly Barber of Atlanta, GA and Kim Guthrie Jones of Altoona; nephew Darrin Walker, niece Briana Findley, nephew Tareese Guthrie and nephew Tashawn Guthrie all of Altoona; and her significant other, James Wannamaker.

            Ralphephia was a member of New Creation in Christ Ministry, Altoona.

            She had been employed as a boiler operator with five years’ service.

            Fia enjoyed music, singing, dancing, and cooking. She was also happy to help those in need or those who were less fortunate in life. She became the matriarch of the family.

            A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
