Randal James "Randy" Geiner

     Randal James “Randy” Geiner, 64, passed away Wednesday morning April 1, 2020, at his home. He was born on February 2, 1956 in Lancaster, son of Frank J. and the late Doris J. (Vaughn) Geiner. He married Cynthia “Cindy” (Huston) on September 11, 1976.

     Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Jennifer (Shawn) Brown and Nicole (Matthew) Dickson; son, Jeffrey; two grandsons, Camden and Connor; three granddaughters, Genesis, Katelin, and Mira; two great-grandchildren; father, Frank; two brothers, Russ (Becky) and Rob (Dana); and a large, loving extended family.

     He was preceded in death by a son, James “Matthew” and mother, Doris.

     Randy was a 1974 graduate of Altoona Area High School. He retired from Norfolk Southern after 30 years of service as an electrician. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid member at Brush Mountain Sportsman’s Association, where he spent a lot of time. He enjoyed cars, technology, genealogy, and was the “Commish” of the family’s fantasy football league. He had a great sense of humor.

     A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
