Rhonda Lee (Yerty) Corl, 58, Altoona, died Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh.
She was born in Altoona on November 16, 1962, the daughter of Patricia Lee (Laird) and the late Joseph Allen Yerty.
Surviving are her mother of Altoona; Michael S. Grove of Altoona; a son, Joshua A. Corl, and his wife, Amber, of Williamsburg; three grandchildren: Ryland Corl, Carson Lee and Brinley Corl, all of Williamsburg; a brother, Joseph D. Yerty, and his wife, Tammy, of Martinsburg; niece, Ashley Marie Yerty (Samuel Weyandt) of Claysburg; a brother, Francis Dambeck, and his wife, Chrissy, of Altoona; a nephew and niece: Jordan Dambeck and Samantha Moyer, both of Altoona; and her estranged husband, Duane Corl.
She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Denise Yerty.
Rhonda was a 1981 graduate of Altoona Area High School. She worked as an EMT for the Claysburg Ambulance Company and was owner of a CPR company for 14 years.
She was a member of the Concordia and of the American Legion Auxiliary 456, Williamsburg.
Rhonda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid Bingo player.
Friends will be received from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2021, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., where a funeral service will be held at 5:30 p.m. with Pastor Dave Cadle officiating.
