Sara Catherine Musselman

        Sara Catherine Musselman, 66, of Altoona, died unexpectedly Friday, September 24, 2021, in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

       She was born November 13, 1954, a daughter of the late Robert M. Sr., and May Joanne (Halton) Putt. Sara married David D. Musselman on May 28 1977, in Altoona. He preceded her in death on June 7, 2000.

       Surviving are her son, Travis P. Musselman, of Altoona; four siblings: Robert M. (Beth) Putt Jr., of Fairfield, New Jersey; Joanne G. Femea, of Altoona; Betty May (David) Lloyd, of Williamsburg; and John G. (Kathy) Putt, of Bellefontaine, Ohio; seven nieces: Christina Nichols, Danielle (Christa) Putt, Alyssa (Chris) Shultz, Charlene Putt, Cassandra Werling, Johnna (Alex) Aburto, and Natasha Putt; one nephew: Earl (Mandi) Femea Jr.; seventeen great-nieces and nephews; her significant other John Carmichael; former sister-in-law, Bonnie Putt; and numerous extended family members.

        She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents: Arthur and Sarah (Dillon) Putt; father-in-law, Edward Musselman and mother-in-law, Ruth Musselman; and brother-in-law, Earl Femea, Sr.

          Sara was a 1974 graduate of the Bellwood-Antis High School.

          She was most recently employed at Arby’s Store #129 as a cashier and lobby attendant. Previously she also worked at Valley View (Maybrook Hills) as a dietary aid.

         Sara enjoyed playing bingo, playing cards, bowling, watching baseball games, and she especially enjoyed spending time with Travis, her family, and friends. She was also a member of the Bavarian Aid Society.

       Friends will be received from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2021, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc. where a funeral service will follow at 7 p.m., Pastor James Spivey officiating.

          A private interment will be held at Alto-Reste Park.
