Sheila Garman Obituary

Sheila Latricia “She” Garman, 58, Altoona, died Monday morning at her residence. She was born in Altoona, daughter of mother, Mary O’Conner, who preceded her in death.

Sheila is survived by her fiance, Jeffrey K. Burgmeier; a daughter, Nichole Racheal Bodu (Schal) of Virginia Beach; a son, Christopher Neil Smith (Alisha) of Altoona; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was a proud caring mother, known for her energy and laughter and always put others before her own needs.

She enjoyed gardening, spending time on the farm, baking, volunteering and loved her time with her grandchildren.

The family will have a celebration of life at their convenience for all family and friends.

Memorial contributions in memory of Sheila may be given to Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
