Trudy Bernadette (Seskey) Wesner

            Trudy B. Wesner, 72 of Altoona died early Monday morning March 29, 2021 at her residence.

            She was born July 15, 1948 in Altoona a daughter of the late Theodore S. and Madeline (Zandy) Seskey. She married Timothy Wesner on January 31, 1976 in Duncansville.

            Surviving are her husband, Timothy; two children: son, Timothy Wesner, II (Noreen) of Hollidaysburg and daughter, Jennifer Thacker (Ross) of Altoona; six grandchildren: Brittan, Jude, Lillian, Julia, Dale, and Logan; a great-grandson, Ivan; and a brother, Robert Seskey (Barbara) of Duncansville.

            Trudy was preceded in death by a brother, Theodore L. Seskey.

            Mrs. Wesner was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Altoona.

            She was a graduate of Bishop Carroll High School and attended Mt. Aloysius College.

            She retired from Sheetz in 2011 following thirty-five years’ service. Prior to that time, she was employed by TWA as a flight attendant for six years.

            Trudy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, gardening and she enjoyed faithfully praying the Rosary.

            A private viewing will be held at the convenience of the family.

            A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday March 31, 2021 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 416 Sixth Avenue, Altoona where a funeral service will be held with very Rev. Ronald V. Osinski officiating. Committal rites will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.

            In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations please be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
