Zach Alexander Lonsinger

            Zach Alexander Lonsinger, 9 months, of Altoona, went home peacefully to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at his residence.

            He was born November 10, 2021, a son of Nickolas Alexander and Christina Marie (Morrison) Lonsinger.

           Surviving are his parents; a brother, Jack A. Lonsinger; maternal grandparents, John and Irene Morrison of Altoona; paternal grandparents, Scott and Julie Lonsinger of Cresson; maternal great-grandmother, Ruth Morrison of Hollidaysburg; paternal great-grandmothers, Janice Lonsinger and Joni Stetler,  both of Altoona; an uncle, John W. “Wesley” Morrison of Altoona; an aunt, Sharise Walter (JJ) and their children: Layla, Samara, and Keegan; an uncle, Scott Lonsinger II (Kalin) and their daughter, Adelai; and an aunt, Rachel Dougan, of Altoona.

          He was preceded in death by maternal great-grandfather, John W. Morrison, Sr.; paternal great-grandparents, Gilbert and Ethel Hamel; and paternal great-grandfather, Ernest A. Lonsinger.

           Zach attended Faith United Church of Christ, Altoona with his family.

           Friends will be received from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona where a funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Rev. John Emig officiating.

            In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in honor of Zach be made to Naomi’s Nursery Blessings, 4008 Clover Creek Road, Martinsburg, PA 16662.
