Sadly I never got to meet Jodie although we had planned to meet up, it was not to be. I knew her through our direct messages and our twitter posts. She was such an enthusiastic Rafa fan and was always kind and caring and never complaining. I don't know anyone with her courage, faith, and determination. She was a great inspiration to all of us and we will miss her gentle spirit. She really was the wind beneath our wings. My heart goes out to her family who she loved so dearly.
Peace, sweet Jodie, as you dance among the stars. ✨ ✨💛

Jodie attracted my attention on Twitter right away, not only because she an avid fan of the Spanis tennis player, Rafael Nadal, but also because she was always kind, positive, optimistic, and funny. One would never guess she was fighting cancer so hard and long; she talked mostly of the good things in her life—-family, faith, prayer for others. Her indomitable and uncomplaining spirit was an example to me in my own trials of illness, and she never failed to check on my condition and encourage me. That generosity of soul is a rarity. I have been blessed to be her friend on twitter. I miss her already; I will never forget her. I know she is now at peace, beyond pain in the arms of God, but her absence is hard for her beloved family and friends. My prayers are with all of those left behind, especially her husband and sons, of whom she was so proud.
I love you, Jodie. ❤

I have been one of Jodie's ardent Rafa friends. She brought such joy and spirit to the many "conversations" about life and her passions, which centered around her beloved family.
I would like to send my condolences to her family. She was a lovely woman, and although we never met, I'll miss her.
